 | Comments: |
Rock/Boulder hop and scramble up Helon Taylor and down Hamlin Ridge. Extra time and care needed. The Knife Edge was very windy making the crossing slow and movements deliberate. No technical climbing here but some places require methodical 3 point work. Walk from Baxter thru the Saddle to Hamlin easy with good footing moderate grades. North Basin Cutoff and Chimney Pond walk out is easy with moderating grades and good trail. Nice finish to a long hike. |
