Hiked up to the Stratton Brook Hut in Carrabassett Valley, ME. Trail was dry with just a little mud. Fun, easy hike, not too steep with pleasant footing. Excellent views of Sugarloaf and the Bigelow Range from the hut. Hut was fairly busy and had awesome $1 peanut butter brownies, coffee. Great way to start the hiking season. Definitely worth a visit. |
