Hiked up the Gray Ghost Ski Trail to the Tri Color Ski Trail to the top of the highest lift. The Gray Ghost is very steep and the Tri Color was a bit muddy as they had been working on this trail with a bulldozer. Today was dry but this trail will be a bit sketchy right after a rain. From there a Side Trail leaves from behind the building with all the antennas to connect with the AT. From there the AT travels over Saddleback and the Horn. Had great weather today to do this hike. The Saddleback ridge has great views and reminds me of Franconia ridge. |
