Comments
Comments: A great ridgewalk with nothing but views. Decided to traverse the length of Cadillac from North to South. The north ridge trail has great views down to Bar Harbor and across bay to Schoodic but is not the trail for tranquility - it runs parallel to the Cadillac summit road for a stretch. The South ridge trail is a great open ridge walk away from the crowds all the way to the featherbed which is a nice little pond. A little bit of mud and running water on the south ridge trail once you get into the trees but nothing bad. Had the experience being on the summit when the President arrived to walk around the summit path.
