	Date of Hike:	Monday, September 7, 2015

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	Nice big lot that is shared with the Spruce Hill Trail.

	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

	Recommended Equipment:

	Water Crossing Notes:	Only one - not difficult. There may be more to cross during spring run-off.

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	Only one minor blowdown. Good signs.

	Dog-Related Notes:	Saw one - having a good time. Make sure you have enough water for yours.

	Bugs:	One pretty caterpillar.

	Lost and Found:


	Comments:	One really tough mile and a half - lots of steep areas. Summit and surrounding ledges are great! If I had more energy and was staying the night we would have done West Royce as well. Went swimming instead!
