Tis the summer of the deerfly. Horrendous on road walk,not bad up on ledges. |

Nice showery day hike with valley vistas opening and closing. Scared up a small bear up on ledges eating blueberries, which are coming out nicely. Nice dip in Rattlesnake Pool, water warmest I have ever experienced there, which isn't too warm. |
