I had hoped to follow Whites Brook Road as far as I could drive and then bushwhack Bear, Bear East (official name?), Black and Wheeler. Unfortunately, this road is private and is closed to unauthorized vehicles and trespassing. |

My contingency hike became Bear from Twitchell brook road. I deemed impractical to try other peaks with this approach. I hope to hike the others from Sunday River Ski trails. |
