portions of the trailn mired in mud especially near pond
evidence of upcoming maintenance with pile of logs for bog bridge off to side

No dogs allowed at Baxter State Park |

We were spared until the last two miles when temps got warmer and we were closer to water |

A great day to be hiking. We were the only ones on this trail until we met up with another hiker at the top. Views were spectacular. If anyone is interested, one of the members of our group writes a daily blog and has photos from our hike. See posting below. |
