Several stream crossings on the Royce Trail; all can be one easily with a few rock hops. Otherwise, nothing to speak of. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Royce Trail was in good shape aside from pretty deep leaf litter. West Royce has been cleaned up a bit, and my friend and I cleaned up all of the blowdowns that we could, but there are still some fairly large trees down. There were a few small and avoidable patches of snow on West Royce. East Royce is in good shape. |

I saw a dog on our way down East Royce and it seemed to be doing well. Should be able to get up/down no problem |

Found a camera lens cap underneath a blowdown. Left it on the kiosk at Royce Trail parking area. |

All in all, a great hike. Weather was superb, and the views from the tops of both East and West were spectacular. Spring is here! |
