The trail is mostly packed out but did encounter a lot of drifts along the ridge. The snowshoes were a big help in recreating the path. I did end up losing the trail at one point thanks to those drifts and bushwacked my way to the AT on the other side of the sign junction. I did head back to my car the correct way. So if you see a path that goes off into the woods, and it gets quite hairy, take the other path. |
