A good portion of the trail is well packed down, but there were some areas that snowshoes were some unpacked areas that snowshoes were very helpful on. There were times we were following the path and minor issues with locating the blue blazes. There are several backcountry ski paths and other random minor trails that intersected the trail. The last segment of the hike that is above treeline, there is an orange rope strung up to prevent people from wandering all over the place, making it easy to follow to the summit. There was patches of ice in the area. |
