Good hike for dogs but the high grass is prone for ticks so make sure your canine friend is up to date on his tick protection. |

Lots of ticks and deer flies. Make sure to check for ticks at the end of this hike. |

After a couple unsuccessful attempts to find a hiking trail or access road from the west and northwest we decided to park at the ski lodge and head straight up the north side. Great views on the way up and great views towards the Presidential Range from the antenna near the top. |
