Comments
Comments: Lower elevations had a dusting of snow, but generally dry trail with occasional minor mud. Long traverse below the mountain was a bit tedious.
Once on the ridge, snow increased to 1-2" and the views opened up. While some maps/descriptions describe the communications towers as the summit, I suspect it is actually a crag to the north (1,300'). I initially started bushwhacking to it from the tower, but soon found an unmarked trail that led up to the ledgy highpoint (pins remaining from survey). Nice directional views adjacent to it as well.
I think doubled back and descended a trail adjacent to the communication line to the top of the ski area (ski trails are closed due to construction), then doubled back and returned from whence I came.
