Comments
Comments: Went from S. Arm Road over Old Blue to Bemis Stream Trail and back. Initial climb out of Black Brook Notch is now easier due to many rock steps and some iron rungs. Saw nice undercast on Old Blue. Col between Old Blue and Elephant was beyond muddy. Fell in a mud hole and got totally covered. Lots of ups and downs on this hike. Good workout. This was our third and final stop of our Western Maine "Blues" tour this week (see previous posts).
