Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Rte. 113 was open through Evan's Notch. Iron ranger was not yet open but parking lot was.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Small Patches, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth

Water Crossing Notes: No problems. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: At least two dozen blowdowns. Moved some smaller stuff, but some major obstacles remain. Some can be easily stepped over or crawled under, but some require serious effort to get around. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Emma highly recommends this hike! 
Bugs
Bugs: Blackflies were worse in the parking lot than in the woods. Definitely present, but stiff wind kept them down. Be prepared!
