Comments
Comments: Ragged Mtn near Camden Maine - out for a hike with no snow! A great hike with view after view up top with some especially great views over the ocean and islands. trail passes by major comm tower and travels along open ledges - trail doesn't actually go to summit but it is a short bushwack. Nice spring hike - had rain showers heading up. A few patches of mud to negotiate but rocks in strategic places to cross. A bit of wet rock up top. Once on top view ledge after view ledge. Rain stopped for me at the top and had blue skies. Rain returned as I headed back down. This 2.5 mile stretch is part of the 35 mile Gorges Highland path which is worth a visit.
