Comments
Comments: I skied into Caribou Pond Rd. until the accent of Redington. Road was a bit choppy as snowmobile tracks had frozen over. Coming from this direction, to find the AT crossing you cross a bridge with iron grating (you can see it now) then you cross another bridge and the AT is marked by a couple small ribbons. It does not look like anyone has been towards sugarloaf on the AT in a while. I followed Longmark’s tracks up Redington. I also brought a pen per his suggestion (I did not have a pencil though, so perhaps someone else bring one as pen may not work in the cold).

The AT to both Crockers (from Caribou Pond Rd.) is now very well broken as two others had done it after Longmark and then me, all two ways. If you are thinking about doing Crockers and/or Redington, the conditions are very favorable right now.
