Comments
Comments: Great Brook trail is decently marked, in fairly good shape and free of snow. Red Rock trail to Durgin and Speckled wasn't marked nearly as well, but the trail was wide enough to not have much difficulty navigating it. A few stretches of soft deep snow on the way, but nothing more than a few steps at a time. I then took the Red Rock trail to its junction with the Miles Notch trail. I descended the Miles Notch trail, which comes out only a short road walk away from the Great Brook trail parking lot.The Butters and Red Rock mt side of the trail had much less snow , but had considerably more blow downs.
