Caribou Valley Road is in fair shape and passable by any vehicle. Road is blocked off 4 miles from Route 27. Parking for about 8 vehicles. Walked .4 miles on road to the A.T. |

South Branch of the Carrabassett River was an easy rock hop at current water levels that were on the low side. |

A really nice day although it was very windy on the summit of Sugarloaf. Great views in all directions. Saw 5 Nobo's and 1 Sobo and 2 day hikers. |
