Drove to parking area Friday afternoon and hiked in to Piazza Rock Campsite and tented. There were about a dozen NOBO's overnight. Saturday I headed north on the A.T. to Saddleback and also The Horn. A nice day with mostly sunny skies and some wind at the summit but it subsided as the day went on. Headed back south and picked up my gear at the campsite then headed to my vehicle. A great overnight trip on the A.T. |
