The Chatham Trails Association has all these Trails in good shape. There is mud that must be unavoidable, in such a wet summer. |

I went up Stone House Trail, which is steady, lacks views but has refreshing detours to much cooler Rattlesnake Gorge and Pool. I descended by steep and rocky White Cairn Trail, with great views higher up. The opposite direction would make much more sense. |
