Comments
Comments: The trails were generally wet today except for some dry areas on open ledges. The mud stretches were short and not difficult. Trails were well maintained. The Bickford Brook sign at the upper junction with the Blueberry Ridge Trail is resting on the ground. I had to leave the open summit quickly when I heard thunder. Fortunately I was on the northern periphery of the cell so the area did not bear the full brunt of the storm.
Saw lots of Bog Laurel on Blueberry Mountain. Views were limited by low clouds.
