Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking is just before the 1st bridge outtage. This adds about 1/2 mile walk before you reach the trailhead.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow - Spring Snow

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: the 2 bridges prior to the trailhead are out. You have to cross 2 large streams. The 1st one was rock hoppable, the 2nd we took our boots off and waded across (about knee depth).

Trail Maintenance Notes: lots of blowdowns, but all easily passable.

Bugs
Bugs: black flies were having a field day! Thank god for bug hats! Once we were getting close to treeline, there were no bugs.

Comments: Great summit on Abraham!! Wonderful hike with wonderful friends. Finished my #67 of the NE 4000 footers on my 50th birthday! Surprised at the summit when my husband pulled a bottle of champagne from his pack and also a cake!
