Water Crossing Notes: small crossings easily done
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All but ridge trail clear - Ridge trail has numerous blowdowns between scenic trail junction and the summit - most are easy stepovers but there are a couple more serious - one cluster completely blocks the trail - didn't have my saw but my friend and I broke limbs to make it a little easier to get through. Head straight up after getting though - Another large blowdown just short of the summit also blocks the trail has a path developing around. Will take a bit of work to clear out
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lot of dogs out today - 10+ - enjoying the trails - lots of water along the way
Bugs
Bugs: None!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One stabilicer on the sign at the junction of the tablelands and carriage road trail

Comments
Comments: A great and sunny day out on the trails - looked for something without snow cover and Camden Hills fit the bill. Did a long loop with an attempted bushwack. Varied trail conditions today - mostly dry down low with some minor water up Maiden cliff and across scenic trail. Ridge trail once in the trees had some long stretches of running water that you'll need to rock hop up and along. Some stretches of mud as well in places you'll need to skirt the edges to avoid the deeper parts. Boots will likely get wet on this stretch. Still a few reaming patches of snow and ice. a few spots of wet and slick rock but easily navigated Tablelands trail was dry to junction with carriage trail. Headed down carriage trail about 1/2 mile and friend and I were looking to bushwack over to another stream about 1/2 mile from trailhead that looked to have a trail alongside figuring we'd connect up with it - made it a ways through nice open woods and across a couple of nice streams but unfortunately ran into a neighborhood blocking the way. Did find an old concrete foundation in the middle of the woods and a couple of nice waterfalls - walked out to 52 and walked about a mile back to trailhead. Great views of the lake and the ocean from the various viewpoints. A grand day.
