Very nicely packed trail, a few other people were currently on the trail, and some had obviously come that morning. Otherwise, snowshoes would have been necessary (since the snow was about 1 - 4 feet). The hike began at about 11:30. Strong winds were moving a lot of snow, which started to fill the trail a bit. Crampons and winter hiking boots recommended - I wish I had brought poles as well. |
