looked for an easy hike after clearing the 18 inches of snow we received in Maine. A great little way to check out the new tubbs asp flex snowshoes - I found them an imporvement over my old MSR's. Trails were a mix of packed powder from the many others out today, a bit of heavier and sticky snow in the sun, and some great unbroken powder that was perfect travel for the snowshoes. A nice and easy loop with lots of folks out enjoying themselves today. |
