Comments
Comments: Cool day today with temps from 10 to 20 degrees. Blue sky and about 3 inches of snow on the ground. Katahdin looked great with its white snow cover against the blue sky. This morning I hiked from Abol Bridge south to Hurd Brook Campsite and this afternoon I hiked from Abol Bridge north to Nesowadnehunk Stream for a total of 14 miles on very easy terrain. The 3 miles of trail along the West Branch of the Penobscot River is really nice. What a great day to be out hiking.
