Snow on Ledges Trail getting a little thin on the east ridge with lack of snow. Otherwise trails in great shape. After descending Bald Peak Trail, I decided to make my way down a driveway to Moose Pond, and walk east back to my car out on the lake ice. That was very enjoyable, but had to cut through summer camp property at both ends of that.
Also, had a very enjoyable lunch in the top cabin at the ski area. I have never seen a ski patrol cabin where the public (usualy skiers) were invited in before. Very amiable. |
