Comments
Comments: Opted to head to Acadia at last minute and glad I did, sunny skies with endless views; caught an amazing sunset coming down off Sargent. Spots of wet rock, roots, and running water on all trails. One steep rock scramble on Parkman Trail was wet and a bit slippery. There are wet roots and rocks heading down the steep pitch on the Gradient trail heading off Parkman where you'll need to keep an eye on your steps. Lots of mud on Gradient as your are heading up Sargent along with a patch of running water. A few patches of snow up high on Sargent along with a bit of ice that were not a problem. Nice and dry up top hading down Sargent South ridge trail, some wet rock and roots on the Hadlock Brook trail along with patches of mud. Waterfall where Hadlock brook crosses the carriage road was going in full flow and an amazing view.
