Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: CVR in alright shape all the way to the barricades and parking area. Watch out as there are several eroded areas on the way that require care to pass if you're in a passenger car. The AT crossing is marked by blue flagging on both sides of the road, pretty hard to miss.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: CVR was fine after the metal bridge. A couple small stepovers up to Crocker Cirque, and a couple more headed up to South Crocker. One big, trail obstructing blowdown between the two, worked around to the right (on the way out to North) in open woods. A couple stepovers along the way as well. There was a cut trail heading roughly west directly off the summit, didn't follow it for far, but gave some nice views over to Black Nubble.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A gnarly looking cotton shirt hanging off a branch just off South Crocker, I wasn't about to touch it.

Comments
Comments: Cold day to get out and hit a couple peaks before the storm. Very little snow here compared to the White Mountains, maybe a dusting to 1/2 an inch in spots. Nice gentle climb off the CVR to the tentsite spur, then a steeper ascent to South Crocker. A steep descent to the col and then a moderate climb to North Crocker. Sunny to start, soon clouding over, but stunning views when I had them. Ground definitely frozen now, only a bit of ice. Great day!
