 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Caribou Valley Road - if you have okay clearance, you should be able to make it to just before the metal grate bridge. Don't bother going over the metal grate bridge unless you have an off-road-capable vehicle - the uphill just beyond it is washed out and the bridge before the AT crossing is in rough shape. Off-road-capable vehicle could continue past the AT crossing for a bit, but not for too long - one of the smaller bridges has basically collapsed, others aren't far behind it, and just beyond that the road is very badly washed out. |

 | Comments: |
AT to South Crocker - a bit muddy from the rain, otherwise no issues. Bugs and water crossings no issue.
AT to North Crocker - a bit muddy, otherwise no issues.
Herd path from South Crocker summit to Redington - pretty easy to follow in terms of herd paths (if you're expecting a trail, you will be let down).
Various paths/roads from Redington back to Caribou Valley Road - a bit confusing (didn't read up on these ahead of time, last minute whim), but the cairned logging roads will lead you back to Caribou Valley Road (even though they take you south first). |
