Quite a few on the west side of the notch, but rock hoppable. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Quite a few blowdowns in the wilderness portion, including a few that block the trail corridor and make navigation difficult. I removed a bunch of minor deadfall stuff. Trail quite vague in the wilderness portion. |

Went from Route 113 to the eastern wilderness boundary. Trail was generally dry with some muddy areas that could be avoided. No snow, ice, or frozen ground.
Trail is quite vague in the wilderness section. There are plenty of blowdowns, few blazes, and minimal clues of a footbed due to newly fallen leaves. If not good with navigation/bushwhacking, I'd recommend postponing hiking this trail until a later time, perhaps when the leaves have broken down next year. |
