Rock hopping, one spot over the trail i took off shoes and walked across up to my ankles. bunch of bog sections trekking poles useful. |

few blowdowns but easy to get through |

not a hikers dog but there was an aggressive pug not tied up on the dirt Tully Road. he responded to yelling but a heads up. |

mosquitoes out but still a bit slow.. worse in the boggy parts. |

An ok loop but a bunch of wet trail and a few road walks. Royalston falls shelter is awesome but the water there tasted bad even after filtering. Tully mtn had good views of Monadnock and Royalston Falls itself was cool.
on the topo map given to me by the rangers Tully road is labeled Royalston rd. road sign says Tully. the Tully Lake map at the kiosk is correct. |
