Comments
Comments: Trail had not seen traffic since the last few snowstorms. Initially 6-12" or so down low in the south-facing areas, growing to 2 to 3 feet higher up. A few of the scramble ledges are bare with water running down them. I used light snowshoes and regretted the decision; full size mountain snowshoes would have been much better for the deep snow along the ridge. Snow remained powder in the shade, but was going to granular and spring snow in the many south-facing slopes.

Beautiful spring-like afternoon with clear skies and temperatures in the 40s.
