 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The road-side parking stretch at Botlon Pond TH was not plowed back far enough to get all the way off the road to park, but the road is wide enough there for this to not be a problem. |

A beautiful day in the woods. All trails I traveled, and crossed, were well broken snowshoes tracks, with bare boot chop in only a few short stretches. I wore snowshoes car-to-car, and saw both other snowshoers and spikers (who were not creating chop today). Met two folks heading up with skis, one skinning, the other carrying the skis . Also, met a young lady hiker on top, accompanied by a beautiful Malamute, who said the ski area people told her that it now costs $50 for a day pass to ski on a ski trail without a lift pass--good luck trying to enforce that greedy policy . |
