Trails were dry this afternoon with some slippery oak leaves in places. I don't recall the Big Trees Trail being there before; sort of an interpretive trail that proves an alternate route on the lower portion of the slope (similar in length).
Good views in all directions (Monadnock, Mt. Snow, Greylock, Holyoke Range) from the stone fire tower.
Nice afternoon weather with clearing skies and temperatures in the 60s. |
