| Comments: |
lots of recent rain has led to watery trails. the wettest sections were the Bolton Pond Trail, the upper section of the West Side Trail (which was like hiking through a stream) and the Semuhenna. We avoided the section of the Semuhenna that is closest to the Ski trails - I assumed that would be really muddy. The section further north (that intersects with the Old Indian) also had mud and water. there was also some mud in the highest section of the Old Indian. Despite all that, it was a great hike and it was lovely to see all the Mountain Laurel in bloom. |
