Mt Wachusetts (no summit)
lots of folks out enjoying the recent snowfall; trails a mix of decently-packed sections with chewed-up posthole messes near the edges; the higher up the mountain you go, the better the trails (fewer dog walkers). great snow cover for this time of year; with temps in the low 30s, you might be able to get away with just traction, but in the upper 40s, you will want floatation. decent set of ski tracks on the admin road. |
