| Comments: |
We hiked from Houghton's Pond parking lot to Reservation HQ, up North Skyline Trail to Great Blue Hill, down Raccoon Hollow Path via 1082 following the red dots to the Trailside Museum, back up via 1051 following the red dots up to Great Blue Hill, then down South Skyline Trail back to Houghton's Pond parking lot. The trails were mostly dry, but with icy patches in several places, notably coming down South Skyline Trail from Great Blue Hill, between 1066 and 1083. All the ice could be avoided with a little care - no need for any footwear beyond hiking boots. |
