Comments
Comments: Parked at the Old Summit Trailhead on Notch Road and cut over to the AT up to Williams. Slight view through the trees from the summit. South to Greylock is fairly gentle with a few steeper sections just before the summit. Great views on a somewhat hazy day. Took the stairs to the top of the war memorial and got 360 views. Worth the effort. Took the Old Summit Trail from the junction on the way back. Seems like most people take the AT because the trail was covered in leaves. Very dry, brought my own water but don't remember seeing any running water. Nearly 3 hours on the dot with around 30 mins up top included.
