Because of new snow, tree branches were sometimes hanging low across the trail on Bolton Pond trail |

Wonderful hiking on enough snow with some ice underneath that microspikes were perfect, snowshoes not needed. I only lost the trail once briefly at one of the three downhill ski slope crossings. Skiers were friendly. |
