| Water Crossing Notes: |
One major by October Mountain shelter is easy to cross. All others are rock hoppable. This will change as the melt picks up. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of blow downs obscuring the trail near Bald Peak. |

This is a tough time of year for dogs. Lots of deep sections that they seem to sink into. Watch for cuts and the potential to tear muscles. |

With 4 hikes now left until I leave for some southern hikes, I was dealign with Spring conditions today. Lots of rotten snow and water. Slow going but still had a good day out there. Enjoying the trail through Massachusetts. |
