This route, as well as Mt. Tom Reservation in general, seems like a great place for dogs. They do have to be leashed, though |

Down low, there was consistent snow coverage, but on the steeps below the summit, there was some dry ground mixed with frozen granular snow and ice. I'd still bring light traction, though. |
