Gates block Hosmer Road, so my car GPS directed me to the end of a long dirt road (which was fine), just off the Friends Trail, after an interesting drive from Route 2 north through downtown Fitchburg, Mass. - new to me. |

Nearly 10 miles of gorgeous woods today, with loops at both ends connected by the Friends Trail. Much mountain laurel, which gave the trails a southern feel. |
