Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Probably best to keep the dogs on a leash - there's a friendly cat at the trailhead that seems to like to hike the first portion of the trail with you. Roaring Brook was pretty much dry, so little to no water available.
Bugs
Bugs: A few deer flies and mosquitoes, but not terrible.

Comments
Comments: Trails were dry (hiked out before the rain picked up) and in good shape. Lots of damage in the surrouding woods, probably from the ice storm? Only views from summit are via climbing the fire tower.
