The trails were mostly old woods roads, which were in overall good shape and easy to follow. |

Did a hike in the Merrimac Town Forest after work. (Last time I was here was on a snowless, barren, colorless day in January 2012.) The place looks so much better with color! I revisited 315 ft. Red Oak Hill and basically explored more of the place than before. Nice walking trails, but IMHO this would be a great place for mountain biking. Didn't see anyone else the whole time. |
