Comments
Comments: A low key up and back afternoon hike from the west side of the mountain. Trails were solid enough for spikes the whole way, but were slightly softer on the way back. Snowshoes wouldn't have really helped at this point. Lower WST has running water on the trail, and the switchbacks on the upper OIT have exposed ice that can be tackled just fine with spikes. Had the summit tower to ourselves for a while until some hikers and boarders showed up. Cloudy views, but temps were warm and comfortable with a light breeze.
