We ascended Mid-State/Watatic trails and returned through the woods. Trails are packed. Some post-holing near summits. Summits are both clear. We used traction because we had it but the trail is packed enough to go without. Punishment is immediate when stepping off the packed trail(LOL). Thanks to the snowshoe-er who packed the previous day's powder for us. |
