There is a sign at the trailhead kiosk requesting dog owners to clean up after their dog. I find it offensively self-centered when some of these owners then tie their dog poop plastic bag on a tree limb next to the trail. Hey, you guys, there is a fellow community of hikers here to enjoy the outdoors and you and your dog are NOT the most important and only valuable creatures in the whole world! Please be more considerate of us other hikers. |

Amazing that in late January there is no snow here, little cold, and bright sun -- feels like fall, not winter. |
