Started late (11:30) and paid for it by getting caught in the rain. Thought about turning back but pressed on and the rain stopped. Some intermittent thunder just to keep us moving with a purpose. Some really muddy and swampy areas. Saw some bear or dear scat on the trail and and unfriendly large grouse between cabin and summit. |
